We All Have a Story

We tell it to ourselves more often than we hear ourselves telling it to our friends.  The story we have about how we got here or why we did what we did and maybe even continue to do now. We may even mull over certain events over and over and over.  Snapshots from the movie about yourself might be keeping you up at night or startling you during the day.

This constant rehashing strengthens expectations in our hearts and minds.  Our expectations shape our reality. Telling your story to someone who is able to hold space for you can help you heal wounds by validating your experience, reframing events, loving yourself more and allowing you to move forward with more ease and grace.
